Chicago Artist Bart Bemus will host a one-day, outdoor, painting workshop on the grounds of the historic Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook, Illinois.

He will begin by giving a brief talk about his method of working in a limited color palette, and also discuss common ways to enhance outdoor sketches. He will then give an oil painting demonstration on location at one of the forest preserve's beautiful sites while explaining what he looks for in a good sketch. Participants will then create their own works of art with Bart coaching each participant individually.

Class size is limited to twenty people. Reservations and payment are required to secure your place. Bart paints in oil, but all participants may choose their own media.
